Was feeling an urge to squat..and with more powerlifting platforms in my future, i decided to hit them heavy…been really enjoying chains with my back squat recently and been finding a lot of benefits in driving out of the hole with gusto… i slapped some chains on the barbell and skwatted…then decided to destroy myself with dead lifts…megatroned my soul on pulls

  • Squats 5×2 with 100# in chains (with knee wraps..hit a PR at 403)
  • squat 315# plus 100# in chains 1×5 ( as a finisher…hitting another PR on reps)
  • Dead lift 9×1 315# on 3 mats for speed
  • Dead Lift 315# on 3 mats… every 30 seconds for 10 mins

It’s monday so the desire to press heavy shit over head is deep in the soul…always hungry for pressing as its my weakness … hit it hard today and lowered the over all volume to give my body a little bit of a “break”

  • Push Press 5×3  (regular power bar)
  • log strict press 4×8
  • bent over seated reverse flies 3×12
  • K.B. strict press 3×15/15 (that means 15 on each side)
  • Band Push Downs 4×20
  • Hammer Curls 3×12
  • 21’a x2

This whole week for me has been a massive ass whooping..and i love it…hit high on the volume this week to see where i stand  in my total reps and Strength endurance…the powerlifting meet did take a lot of my energy away but i muscled through it and put tons of vagisil on all my vaginas and was ready for Strongman Saturday…

  • Speed Squats 8×2 (155# and 100# in chains)
  • Speed Pulls on 2 mats 10×1 with 60# in chains
  • Stones over 50” bar 263# 2×8, 200# 2 x8 (died a little inside)
  • heavy sled pulls 4 x 50ft 270#,360#,450#,540#
  • Death

Starting to feel the strength rise as i am eating bigger and lifting heavier every week..starting to amp up my volume as these upcoming comps are mostly volume and conditioning work…still tender from the meet and obviously my back is starting to give me some warning signs that my glutes are tight..but hey..chicks dig tight buns right?? i mean..am i right? …sigh =(

  • Sling Shot bench press 4×8 (worked up to 365# for 6 then back down to 335 for 8)
  • circus D-Bell 4×1 (finally using my 120# bell and hit a triple)
  • Fat Bar Push Press 3×15 ..VOLUME!!
  • D-Bell floor press 2×30
  • Band Push downs 2×30

NO time to waste on getting my pulls stronger…hit some heavy deads today despite the fact my body was aching..sometimes i think it’s important to listen to the body…other times you just need to tell it to shut the fuck up…still feeling little spasms in the back but nothing too serious…so decided to strap up and pull for high volume today off the floor

  • Dead lift 4×5 (with straps, off floor)..work to 425# but back was toast
  • 405# x 11
  • 315#16
  • sled pulls 160ft x 4
  • Band Hamstring curls 2×15
  • Band Face pulls 2×20

Definitely need to rest tomorrow…body is yelling at me this time and i better listen up
